Read It and Weep by Jenn McKinlay

Read it and Weep is a cute and cozy mystery with a charming setting, a lovable cast of characters and a plot that is undemanding of a readers mental powers. The fourth book in the Library Lover’s Mystery series, it became clear within the first few chapters that this series was meant to be read in order as past deeds and relationships are referenced from the very beginning. By skipping the first three Library Lover’s books I missed a lot of history and background, however, this book still managed to be an entertaining experience standing on its own and l quite enjoyed getting to know the characters and exploring the town while tripping merrily along the trail of mystery.
Light and refreshing, I will be on the look-out for the rest of this charming series and am happy to give Read it and Weep three and a half shiny stars.
