Third Grave Dead Ahead - Darynda Jones This review also posted at A Bookish Compulsion

After going positively gaga for the first two books in this series I was surprised that I had so much trouble getting through this one. While Charley still had her trademark wit and the plot was just as who-done-it as the first two, I was thrown by the lack of chemistry between her and Reyes, or rather chemistry, but in the opposite direction. This was an angry book, and I just don’t really dig angry.

I might very well read the next book in this series, to see if it gets better or watch the train wreak if it doesn’t—not sure which way it will go—but my gung-ho enthusiasm had been somewhat deflated.

I give this book three stars.
