This review also posted at A Bookish CompulsionI found this book to be a very interesting and different take on a regency novel. The supernatural elements present were unique and I felt that the mystery and relationships were well handled. That said I found this a very slow book to read, not so much in terms of difficulty but in pacing. While I loved the Prologue, indeed it is the reason I bought the book, the main text seem to take forever to get anywhere. Always acknowledging that regency reads are not my favorite I felt that while this book good, was not really my cup of tea.
I give this book three stars.
